Sample Making
The Space offers a comprehensive range of services, including sample making, pre-production sampling, and pattern grading. These essential steps lay the foundation for manufacturing. All base patterns are provided by the client.
Your sample is the first realization of your concept, bringing your vision to life. Our skilled tailors and sample makers collaborate closely with the creative team and patternmakers to ensure your design is executed to perfection. Their expertise in fabric qualities and finishing touches helps elevate your design to a final product that meets and exceeds expectations.
This is the phase to refine your choices. Create one sample with one fabric option, and another with a different material. The same approach applies to your trims—experiment with different zippers or snaps to see what works best.
As you evaluate your sample fittings, try to look at your options objectively, as a consumer would. Consider factors such as color, weight, texture, and comfort. Remember, the hand of a fabric can feel very different when it’s sewn compared to how it feels as a swatch.
